Another enjoyable trip to the Asturian coast with Alister Benn; plenty of beaches, rocks and waves to keep everyone entertained. No big storms but there were still some impressive waves with the incoming tide. A very noisy process makes the rocks a little bit smoother and a bit more round than they were 100 years ago. And while some beaches you can drive down to, others had stairs, plenty of stairs, so our meals were well earned. I flew in to Bilbao so I could again have an evening and morning shoot of the Guggenheim Museum.
There are a few places where I have put in similar images, not having decided yet which one I like best. But this also shows that a good location can be bountiful if you keep shooting, it's rarely 'one and done'. In most seascapes the water is intentionally smoothed by a long exposure time as I wanted to complement the lighting that was suggestive of serenity.
