Deserts

There is a stark beauty to the desert landscape that I can't resist. Perhaps the opportunity to abstract into simple lines and shapes is part of the attraction. Initial images are from the incredible Namib Desert that we flew over as well as exploring on the ground, especially into Deadvlei (see more in the Namibia gallery). Other scenes are from a white sand desert near Boulderbaai in South Africa, and Death Valley in the USA. There are B&W versions of the aerial images in the B&W collections.
